The Lord is My Shepherd
A Psalm of David
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Friends, I felt like this would minister to us today. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
The Lord is My Shepherd | Yes... He is the Leader and he is looking out for me. He's got it all under control. He will protect me. He cares for me. He loves me.
I shall not want | Yes... I am like a sheep, I need help! I can rest in childlike trust that my Shepherd can take care of me. Like children we don't have to worry about tomorrow, or next week, or next year. Even if we're waiting on/ hoping for something we don't have to focus on it and let anxiety consume us.
“Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading.”
If you're in an unknown time, or your not sure what the Lord is doing in your life I pray that you can rest and trust that God is working in you. Don't try to figure it all out. Rest in today.
If he's been telling you to rest, continue resting. He is working inside of you; love is working.
